The “online” deregistration
We would be happy to register the vehicle for you!
(“Online deregistration”: €17.50)
An “online” deregistration is possible for vehicles that were registered from January 1st, 2015.
For the "online" deregistration, the codes from the license plate (3 digits) and the registration certificate part I (motor vehicle license) (7 digits) are required.
These must be “rubbed/uncovered”. To carry it out we still need the 17-digit vehicle identification number (FIN) and the license plate number (e.g. M-J 370).
TIP: Simply send us a photo of the vehicle registration document and the exposed codes.
We need these documents!
Unfortunately, not all communities in Germany have implemented “online” deregistration and it happens again and again that the classic deregistration comes into play again.

Step 1:
You reveal the codes (scratch them off)
Step 2:
You take a photo of both sides of your registration certificate Part I (motor vehicle license) and the exposed codes.
Step 3:
You send us an email and attach the photos you took as an attachment.
Step 4:
We will check whether an “online” deregistration is possible.
Yes - invoice issuance by email
No - only an “on-site” deregistration is possible
Step 5:
After receipt of payment, we will deregister your vehicle within the next 5 working days.
You will then receive the deregistration notice from us by email.
A notice:
Please note that you must be very careful when exposing the codes so that the codes are not damaged. If you are not confident enough to do this, you are welcome to send us the documents (license plate and vehicle registration document). Please note that it may happen that the codes cannot be released without damage or that the codes do not match. In these cases, an “on-site deregistration” must be carried out.
